Karate Darwin Shotokan – JKA began as a community dojo in Malak with one mission: teach authentic Shotokan with uncompromising technical standards.

Growth & Expansion

As we expanded across Darwin and Palmerston, we kept the same JKA curriculum — Kihon, Kata and Kumite — ensuring measurable progress for every student.

Community Impact

Partnerships with schools and local groups make martial arts accessible, safe and transformational across the Northern Territory.

Dojo Principles

Karate Darwin Shotokan is an official JKA‑aligned dojo serving Darwin and Palmerston. We teach traditional Shotokan with a focus on technical precision, safety and long‑term progression.
